Baseball Recap: Renton Triumphs

Renton hadn't done well against Lindbergh recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Red Hawks came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles, sneaking past 6-5. The game was the first time the Red Hawks have beaten the Eagles on their field since May 2, 2022.

The team relied heavily on Collin Mickelson, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Elias Buchan, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Renton's victory bumped their record up to 3-17. As for Lindbergh, they dropped their record down to 10-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Renton has already played their next matchup, a 4-3 loss against Sultan on the 13th. Lindbergh does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
