Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fernandina Beach). They secured a 63-58 W over the Mount Dora Hurricanes on Saturday.

Mount Dora's loss came despite strong showings from Cordae Lister and Shamarr Lambert-Watkins. Lister posted 12 points, while Lambert-Watkins shot 56% from the field en route to 12 points. Another player making a difference was Luke Jabbour, who earned nine points.

The victory got Fernandina Beach back to even at 2-2. As for Mount Dora, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Fernandina Beach will head out to challenge Parker at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mount Dora, they will welcome Winter Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
