Softball Recap: Hebron Comes Up Short

Hebron's tournament run continued when they took on Thrall on Saturday. The Hawks took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers.

Lilly Pirrello was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Abby Chunn was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Hebron's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Thrall, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Coming up, Hebron will be playing in front of their home fans against Horn at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hawks are facing the Jaguars at the right time seeing as the Jaguars are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Thrall, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on Somerville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
