Softball Recap: Jack Britt Takes a Loss

After soaring to 17 runs the game before, Jack Britt was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They lost 12-2 to the Cape Fear Colts. The matchup marked the Buccaneers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Jack Britt's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-4. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.7 runs over those games. As for Cape Fear, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Jack Britt wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 15-0 win against Westover on the 19th. As for Cape Fear, they have also already played their next game, a 17-16 defeat against Triton on the 19th.
