Volleyball Recap: Intrinsic Beats Orr for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Intrinsic had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Orr Spartans by a score of 2-0. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Spartans, too.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Intrinsic was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-14.

Ethan Miranda was the offensive standout of the contest as he had seven digs and five aces. Those seven digs gave him a new career-high.

Intrinsic couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 61.9% of their attack attempts. That's the best hitting percentage they've posted all season.

Intrinsic's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Orr, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Intrinsic will challenge Golder at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Orr, they are taking a road trip to take on Collins at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
