Basketball Game Preview: Browne Bruins vs. Skyline Coyotes

The Browne Bruins will challenge the Skyline Coyotes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Browne's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches.

Browne is headed into the contest having just posted their biggest win since December 4, 2024 on Friday. They blew past Kofa 69-49. The Bruins pushed the score to 52-31 by the end of the third, a deficit the Kings cut but never quite recovered from.

It was another big night for Karmello Walker, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. Those 17 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tony Bayigamba, who posted 14 points and six rebounds.

Browne smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in four consecutive games.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 71-35, which was the final score in Skyline's tilt against Mountain View on Friday. The Coyotes haven't had much luck with the Toros recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Browne, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-9.

Browne didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Skyline in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 55-50 win. Will Browne repeat their success, or does Skyline have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
