Fresno Christian strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Orcutt Academy Spartans, posting a 56-26 win. The Eagles pushed the score to 56-20 by the end of the third, a deficit the Spartans cut but never quite recovered from.

Fresno Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tycen Ramirez led the charge by throwing for 219 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes, and also punching in one TD on the ground. Ramirez has been hot recently, having posted four or more passing touchdowns the last four times he's played. Alex Asatrian also helped with two scores in total.

Fresno Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Dominic Ramirez and Levi Eurich. Ramirez got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Fresno Christian's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Orcutt Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fresno Christian will host Hesperia Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Orcutt Academy, they will be playing at home against Frazier Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
