Softball Recap: Point Pleasant Boro Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Point Pleasant Boro's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Donovan Catholic Griffins on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Griffins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-3 back in April.

Point Pleasant Boro has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season. As for Donovan Catholic, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-1.

Point Pleasant Boro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Donovan Catholic, they will square off against Kingsway at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
