Baseball Recap: Abbeville Comes Up Short

Abbeville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Lake Charles College Prep Trailblazers, falling 12-2.

Abbeville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braylon Himel, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Abbeville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Lake Charles College Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Abbeville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-1 loss against A.J. Ellender on the 14th. As for Lake Charles College Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 19-1 defeat against DeQuincy on the 14th.
