Baseball Recap: Comstock Comes Up Short

Comstock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against the White Pigeon Chiefs, falling 17-2. The Colts were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chiefs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.

Comstock saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dom Narwick, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Narwick has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

Comstock's record now sits at 2-13. As for White Pigeon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Comstock beat White Pigeon by a score of 9-3 later that day.
