Basketball Recap: Quitman's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Quitman waltzed into their match on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They strolled past the Forest Bearcats with points to spare, taking the game 50-36. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 41-40 last Friday.

Quitman's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was JAHYLA DUBOSE, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten steals. The dominant performance gave DUBOSE a new career-high in steals. AIYANNA DEAR was another key player, putting up 13 points along with seven steals and six boards.

Quitman has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. As for Forest, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season.

Quitman and Morton will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Forest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
