Baseball Recap: North Hills Christian Gets the Win

North Hills Christian took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Grace Academy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Lions 10-9 on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their two-run performance the match before.

Gracin Craig was excellent, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs and two RBI. North Hills Christian is undefeated when Craig posts two or more runs, but 3-11 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Dusty Morgan, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

North Hills Christian's record is now 7-11. As for Grace Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Hills Christian will welcome Faith Academy Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grace Academy, they will be playing at home against Pro Stock Royals Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Royals have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
