Basketball Recap: Center Roughriders vs. Silsbee Tigers
Center lost against Silsbee back in December of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Center Roughriders took a 72-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Silsbee Tigers.

Despite the loss, Center still got an impressive performance from Tim Johnson, who went 10 of 21 on his way to 27 points along with six rebounds and five steals. The dominant performance gave Shoulders a new career-high in points. Payton Jones was another key player, putting up 16 points.
Center's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-4. As for Silsbee, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season.
