Sumner-Fredericksburg is 8-2 against Wapsie Valley since June of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Cougars will square off against the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. Wapsie Valley took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Sumner-Fredericksburg, who comes in off a win.

Sumner-Fredericksburg is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against South Hardin on Saturday as they made off with a 16-4 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Meanwhile, Wapsie Valley entered their matchup against West Delaware on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Warriors took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks.

Wapsie Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 17-2. As for Sumner-Fredericksburg, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.

Sumner-Fredericksburg beat Wapsie Valley 5-2 in their previous matchup last Thursday. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
