Football Recap: Galesburg-Augusta Takes a Loss

After flying high against Cassopolis last Thursday, Galesburg-Augusta came back down to earth. The Rams took a 34-20 bruising from the Plainwell Trojans on Friday. While the Rams didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Trojans 6-0 in the first quarter.

Galesburg-Augusta's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Plainwell, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Galesburg-Augusta will welcome Allegan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Plainwell, they will host Vicksburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Trojans their first taste of in-conference action this season.
