The Nacogdoches Dragons will take on the Woden Eagles in a tournament on Friday. Nacogdoches is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.

Nacogdoches saw some tournament action on Thursday. They and Shelbyville finished up on equal footing with a 4-4 draw.

Meanwhile, after soaring to ten runs the game before, Woden was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They fell 6-2 to Corrigan-Camden.

With that draw, Nacogdoches' record moves to 6-1-1. As for Woden, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Nacogdoches couldn't quite get it done against Woden when the teams last played back in March of 2022 as they fell 4-1. Can the Dragons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
