Volleyball Recap: Farmington Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Farmington and Fremont, and Fremont kept the tradition alive. The Phoenix fell 3-1 to the Silverwolves on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Phoenix of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Farmington started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-21.

Farmington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Farmington will square off against Mountain Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fremont, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Weber at 6:30 p.m. on the 19th.
