Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Waterloo). They strolled past the Mascoutah Indians with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 61-43. The win was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Mascoutah's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Harper Whitworth, who went 5 of 6 en route to 10 points and eight rebounds. Riley Fazenbaker was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Waterloo's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-17. As for Mascoutah, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-22.
