Preview: Worthington Kilbourne Wolves vs. Dublin Scioto Irish

The Worthington Kilbourne Wolves will head out on the road to face off against the Dublin Scioto Irish at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Worthington Kilbourne focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday.

Worthington Kilbourne had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three. They blew past Canal Winchester 55-34.

Te'mar Lewis and Aidan Gallogly were among the main playmakers for Worthington Kilbourne as the former scored 14 points along with 6 rebounds and the latter scored 17 points along with 6 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Lewis has scored at least 25% of Worthington Kilbourne's points.

Meanwhile, Dublin Scioto pushed their score all the way to 64 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 76-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of Westerville South. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Monday (57), Dublin Scioto still had to take the loss.

Worthington Kilbourne's victory bumped their season record to 3-0 while Canal Winchester's defeat dropped theirs to 0-2.

Worthington Kilbourne won a game that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in January, slipping by Dublin Scioto 46-45. The rematch might be a little tougher for Worthington Kilbourne since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
