Baseball Game Preview: Moundridge Wildcats vs. Hillsboro Trojans

The Moundridge Wildcats will venture away from home to challenge the Hillsboro Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Moundridge has given up an average of 7.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It was a proper cat-fight when Moundridge challenged Sedgwick on Thursday. The Wildcats came up short against the Cardinals, falling 12-4. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Hillsboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 9-2 to Haven.

Hillsboro saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaeten Loewen, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases. Jackson Kleiber also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Moundridge's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Hillsboro, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
