League recap: Jefferson leads league with four wins since last week

Jefferson had a successful week, as it won four total games to lead the league. The Jaguars beat Mahtomedi 10-4.

With a big week, Eagan jumped into the top 25 in the state rankings. Eagan moved up from No. 56 in the state all the way to No. 21 thanks to a 1-2 record over the past week. Led by manager Rob Walsh, the Wildcats are ranked No. 1,295 in the nation with an overall record of 7-8.

Eastview boasted the best pitching over the past week, holding opponents to South Suburban's fewest hits and issuing the fewest walks.

The week's strikeout crown belonged to Lucas Anderson, who turned in four Ks for the Lightning. With 21 strikeouts this year so far, he ranks second in the league.
