Cedar Creek had won three straight games and Kenji Franklin did his part to make it four on Friday. The Cedar Creek Eagles walked away with a 57-46 victory over the Crockett Cougars thanks in part to Franklin, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Cedar Creek's points.

Phineas Koplin was another key player, putting up 14 points and seven boards. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in November of 2024.

Cedar Creek's win bumped their record up to 19-14. As for Crockett, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-19 record this season.

Coming up, Cedar Creek will host Bastrop at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedar Creek is facing Bastrop at the right time seeing as Bastrop is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Crockett, they are taking a road trip to take on Anderson at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
