Volleyball Game Preview: Port Clinton Redskins vs. Crestview Cougars

After both having extra time off, the Port Clinton Redskins and the Crestview Cougars will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Port Clinton has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since September 16.

Port Clinton came up short against Edison on Thursday, falling 3-0.

While Port Clinton was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Edison's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-12, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Crestview lost 3-0 to Western Reserve on Thursday.

While Crestview ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-22, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Crestview saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Emma Horner had 13 digs.

Crestview's defeat dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Port Clinton, their loss dropped their record down to 4-18.
