Basketball Recap: Paradise Now 6-2 over Last Eight Games

Paradise hadn't done well against Colusa recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Paradise Bobcats strolled past the Colusa RedHawks with points to spare, taking the game 47-33. This was payback for the Bobcats, who suffered a 74-28 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, Colusa still got an impressive performance from Jace MacKaben, who posted nine points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. MacKaben has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleb Castanon, who had eight points.

Paradise has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Colusa, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Paradise wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 69-29 victory against Willows on the 7th. As for Colusa, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 71-35 loss against Durham on the 7th.
