Volleyball Recap: Lockhart Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Lockhart had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Southside Cardinals on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lockhart never let Southside on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-15.

Lockhart's victory bumped their record up to 5-17. As for Southside, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.

Coming up, Lockhart will be playing in front of their home fans against Pflugerville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southside, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Southwest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
