Volleyball Recap: Conway Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Victory

With a playoff win on the line, Conway rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Socastee Braves. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on five straight.

Conway had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-11, 25-17, 25-22.

Elizabeth Mau went supernova, getting 27 digs and five assists. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.

Conway's victory bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Socastee, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-18.

Conway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Lugoff-Elgin on the 27th. Socastee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
