Gulf Coast put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Palmetto Ridge Bears with a sharp 3-0 win. While the Sharks didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Gulf Coast was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 25-15.

Sophia Schultz paced Gulf Coast's offense, picking up ten kills. Schultz got some help from Vanessa Lange and her 24 assists. Lange and Schultz didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with four apiece.

Gulf Coast's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Palmetto Ridge, they dropped their record down to 4-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Gulf Coast will host Barron Collier at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Palmetto Ridge, they will head out to square off against Aubrey Rogers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
