Softball Recap: Cicero-North Syracuse Continues Road Dominance on Thursday

Cicero-North Syracuse proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by nine) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Baldwinsville Bees 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Northstars in their matchups with the Bees: they've now won five in a row.

The team relied heavily on Sydney Rockwell, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Cicero-North Syracuse's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Baldwinsville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
