Volleyball Recap: Forest Park's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

Forest Park was the 2-0 winner over Valley Lutheran when they last played one another on Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The contest marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Forest Park fell to 4-1. As for Valley Lutheran, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Forest Park will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North Dickinson at 7:00 p.m. on September 16. As for Valley Lutheran, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Greenville on the 23rd.
