Baseball Game Preview: Center Point Eagles vs. Carver Birmingham Rams

Last Thursday, everything went Center Point's way against Tarrant as Center Point made off with a 23-4 win. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Carver Birmingham came tearing into Monday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Vikings a 16-0 shutout. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by seven runs or more this season.

Carver Birmingham pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9 runs. As for Center Point, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
