Baseball Game Preview: Timberland Wolves vs. Woodland Wolverines

Timberland is 0-6 against Woodland since March of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Wolves will look to defend their home field against the Wolverines at 6:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Timberland is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 17th straight game dating back to last season last Thursday. They came up short against Philip Simmons, falling 20-2.

Meanwhile, while it was Woodland who put the first runs on the board on Thursday, it was Andrews who put up more. The Wolverines lost 10-2 to the Yellowjackets. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Woodland saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Robbie Infinger, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. That triple marked the first that Infinger has hit this season.

Timberland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Woodland, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.

Timberland suffered a grim 21-1 defeat to Woodland in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can the Wolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
