Volleyball Game Preview: Suffern Mounties vs. Arlington Admirals

Suffern is 1-6 against Arlington since November of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Mounties will be playing in front of their home fans against the Admirals at 4:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Suffern came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Clarkstown North, falling 3-0.

Suffern took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-21, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Arlington lost 3-0 to Clarkstown South on Tuesday.

While Arlington was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22, 25-16.

Arlington's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8-3. As for Suffern, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
