Meanwhile, the third road contest was the charm for Platte Valley, as they earned their first away victory of the season. Everything went their way against Raymond Central on Thursday as they made off with a 15-3 win. Platte Valley has beaten Raymond Central the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Raymond Central has come to flipping the script.

Louisville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Platte Valley, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-7.

Louisville might still be hurting after the 15-0 loss they got from Platte Valley in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
