Baseball Recap: Liberty Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four matchups, Liberty finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They lost 15-0 to the Pendleton Bulldogs. The Red Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Pendleton, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-12 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty will take on Brashier Middle College Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pendleton, they will host Crescent at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
