Softball Recap: Foothill Comes Up Short

Armijo hit Foothill with a ten-run first inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Mustangs lost 14-3 to the Royals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Royals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 23-5 back in April.

Foothill saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sajeda Noori, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Foothill's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Armijo, the win (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

As of now, neither Foothill nor the Royals have any future games scheduled.
