Football Recap: All S Piles Up the Points Against Grace Prep

It's playoff time, and All S had no trouble coming through when it counted. They claimed a resounding 58-21 win over the Grace Prep Lions. 58 seems to be a good number for the Saints as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Gavin Beard was his usual excellent self, throwing for 251 yards and five touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also rushing for 42 yards and one TD. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last five games he's played. Bourke Toler helped out on the ground, rushing for 93 yards and a rushing touchdown.

All S didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Grace Prep to a completion percentage of just 43.8%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from two players: Kellen Wright and Donavan Hollis, who each logged one passes deflected. All S hasn't an opponent to post a completion percentage of 0.54 or higher in three consecutive games.

All S' defense also made the game a nightmare for Kohein Jergenson, racking up eight sacks. Leading the way was Kingston Beyer with three. Another thorn in Grace Prep's side was Keyon Adkins, who picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made seven total tackles.

All S' win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Grace Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.

All S will take on Fort Worth Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Beard and Landon Gigliotta. Grace Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
