Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Edison

Edison came tearing into Monday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Metuchen Bulldogs 54-52. The Eagles' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Edison pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Metuchen, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Edison will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Piscataway at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Metuchen, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Brearley at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
