Softball Recap: North Salinas Vikings vs. Everett Alvarez Eagles
North Salinas had lost three straight at home, but on Friday they dropped their record down to 5-12 to make it four. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Everett Alvarez Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on April 7th.
As for Everett Alvarez, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season. The win was familiar territory for they, who have now won five games in a row.
