Recap: Life Center Academy Warriors vs. St. John-Vianney Lancers
The Life Center Academy Warriors pushed their score all the way to 65 on Sunday, but even that wasn't enough to win. The contest between Life Center Academy and St. John-Vianney wasn't particularly close, with Life Center Academy falling 81-65. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Saturday (60), Life Center Academy still had to take the loss.
Despite the loss, Life Center Academy still got an impressive performance from Kiyomi McMiller, who scored 35 points along with five rebounds and three steals. McMiller scored a full 53.8% of Life Center Academy's points, the ninth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Shauna Curran, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Life Center Academy and nudges their season record down to 4-6. As for St. John-Vianney, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Life Center Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Mastery Charter North - Pickett at 6:00 p.m. on December 22nd. Mastery Charter North - Pickett will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. St. John-Vianney will be home for the holidays to greet Matawan Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
