Football Game Preview: Hoopeston/Armstrong/Schlarman vs. Westville

On Friday Hoopeston/Armstrong/Schlarman take on Westville at 7:00 PM. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point with three consecutive losses for Hoopeston/Armstrong/Schlarman and five for Westville.

Things could have been worse for Hoopeston/Armstrong/Schlarman, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 20-40 loss to Georgetown-Ridge Farm last Friday. Hoopeston/Armstrong/Schlarman's defeat came about despite a quality game from senior Jacob Catron, who caught passes for 92 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Westville's and Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin's contest was up for grabs at halftime, but Westville were thoroughly outmatched in the second half. Westville have to be aching after a bruising 18-40 loss to Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin.

Hoopeston/Armstrong/Schlarman took a serious blow against Westville the last time the two teams met, falling 6-48. Can Hoopeston/Armstrong/Schlarman avenge their defeat, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
