Basketball Recap: Bon Homme Comes Up Short

Bon Homme was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 64-31 loss at the hands of the Winner Warriors. The Cavaliers were probably out for revenge after losing 55-34 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Winner found their leader in sophomore Carter Craven, who dropped a double-double on 36 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Craven has scored at least a third of Winner's points. Another player making a difference was Ryder Halligan, who posted nine points and five boards.

Bon Homme's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Winner, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

When Bon Homme and Winner next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Bon Homme will square off against Freeman and their four-game winning streak at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Winner will try to stop Lyman's three-game winning streak when the meet at 8:00 p.m. on January 21st.
