Edison came tearing into Tuesday's contest with nine straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Mountain House Mustangs.

If you add up the scores from across all four sets (94-90) Edison actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 14-25, 26-24, 25-23, 25-22.

Vince Tanega paced Edison's offense, picking up 18 kills. Tanega got some help from Jose Rios and his 41 assists. Rashad Lewis controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Edison's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-5. As for Mountain House, they moved to 22-5 with that defeat, which also ended their 12-game winning streak.

Edison didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Franklin on the 23rd. Mountain House does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
