Soccer Recap: Widefield Comes Up Short

Widefield managed to keep up with Harrison until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Gladiators lost 3-0 to the Panthers. The defeat continues a trend for Widefield in their meetings with Harrison: they've now lost six in a row.

Widefield's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Harrison, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-1-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Widefield will challenge rival Canon City at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Harrison is set to take on their familiar foe Palmer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
