Nikiski hadn't beaten Bartlett on the road since September 15, 2018 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Bulldogs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Golden Bears, sneaking past 1-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Blakeley Jorgensen paced Nikiski's offense, picking up six kills. Jorgensen got some help from Milly Hornung and her 14 assists. Finally, Jorgensen was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Nikiski's victory bumped their record up to 12-4-3. As for Bartlett, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-15-2.

Nikiski has already played their next matchup, a 1-1 tie against Lathrop on the 26th. As for Bartlett, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Eagle River on the 26th.
