Baseball Game Preview: Tulare Union Tribe vs. Corcoran Panthers

The Tulare Union Tribe will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge the Corcoran Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Tulare Union is leaving town to face Corcoran after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. Tulare Union came up short against Summerville on Wednesday, falling 10-3. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Roman Leal was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits.

At the plate, Ethan Willborn was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing three bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Corcoran never let their opponents score on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Avenal as Corcoran made off with a 28-0 win.

Tulare Union took their victory against Corcoran when the teams last played back in February of 2022 by a conclusive 15-3. Will Tulare Union repeat their success, or does Corcoran have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
