Lake came tearing into Tuesday's game with six straight wins and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Otsego Knights. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Flyers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-16, 25-16.

Lake got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sydney Marchetto out in front who had 21 digs and two aces. Marchetto is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had six or more in the last 13 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Lucy Boos, who had six digs and 22 assists.

Despite the loss, Otsego saw an underclassman step up: Molly Kramer had 21 digs. Those 21 digs set a new season-high mark for her.

Lake pushed their record up to 8-1 with that win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Otsego, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-4 record.
