Recap: Bishop McDevitt Crusaders vs. Lower Dauphin Falcons
The Bishop McDevitt Crusaders put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Lower Dauphin on the road to the tune of 61-10. Considering Bishop McDevitt has won eight games by more than 25 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Nazir Jones-Davis was on fire: he rushed for 181 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. Jones-Davis was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 63 yards. Rico Scott was in the mix as well, providing Bishop McDevitt with two touchdowns.
Bishop McDevitt's win was their ninth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 10-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.6 points per game. As for Lower Dauphin, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.
Bishop McDevitt does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lower Dauphin will head out on the road to face off against Ephrata at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Ephrata's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last four contests.
