Volleyball Recap: Rock Hills Gets the Win

Rock Hills won the last time they faced Republic County and things went their way on Saturday too. The Grizzlies came out on top against the Buffaloes by a score of 2-0.

Rock Hills not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Republic County between 16 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16.

Halle Mizner paced Rock Hills' offense, picking up eight kills. Mizner got some help from Bethany Simmelink and her 21 assists. Mizner was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Rock Hills' win bumped their record up to 26-1. As for Republic County, they dropped their record down to 10-19 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Rock Hills will challenge Lincoln on Tuesday. As for Republic County, they will be playing at home against Sacred Heart at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
