Volleyball Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Centennial had lost three straight at home, but on Monday they dropped down to 11-14 to make it four. They lost 3-0 to the Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots. The Knights were not able to make up for their defeat to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in October of 2023.

Mya Saeed paced Centennial's offense, picking up five kills. Saeed got some help from Hannah Tuttle and her 12 assists.

As for Mount Pisgah Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 25-12 record this season. They not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 4th (when they won 3-0).

Mount Pisgah Christian found their leader in sophomore Emily Childress, who had seven digs and six assists. Madison Atkinson also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Coming up, Centennial will challenge Alpharetta at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mount Pisgah Christian, they will square off against Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
