Football Recap: Corydon Central Comes Up Short

Corydon Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 37-23 fall against the Madison Cubs.

Despite the loss, Corydon Central still got an impressive performance from Dane Naiman, who rushed for 105 yards and one score on only 14 carries, and also threw for 181 yards and a pair of TDs.

Corydon Central's record is now 2-6. As for Madison, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Looking ahead, Corydon Central will venture away from home to take on Silver Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will be up against the Dragons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.88 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Madison, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Milan at 7:00 p.m.
